Pre Construction

Pre Construction Services

Prior to the construction period of a project, we acquire, prepare and present geographical and geospatial data to the design team.

Topographical Surveys

“A topographical survey is an accurate representation of a site, which is scaled and detailed according to the spatial considerations and is the product of on-site data capture processes”

Global Positioning Systems, Oxford Geospatial

Typically our surveys are presented in 3D CAD format, 2D PDF format and if required paper plots of the surveys are also delivered.

Data collection is undertaken using a combination of GPS systems, Total Stations, precise digital levels and where necessary drones and/or laser scanning to overcome access or Health and Safety issues that may be present.

Our surveys are processed using N4CE - Applications in CAD software, presented in Autodesk - AutoCAD software, and delivered in Adobe - PDF format, along with DWG/DXF and/or raw data if required or requested.

Web Links for direct download are sent our clients via email and all collected data stored for the total duration of the project.

Measured Building Surveying

A measured building survey is an accurate representation of the features of a building, showing all of the structural elements and architectural components.

These surveys can be presented in a 2D format in the forms of: Floor plans, External elevation drawings, Internal Elevation drawings, and Cross section drawings. These plans are typically issued in CAD formats, PDF plots and paper hard copies in required.

The surveys and also be presented as 3D digital models in the forms of: 3D point clouds, Revit models, sketch up models, etc to suit the design teams required formats.

We work in accordance with the survey guidelines set in the RICS ‘Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utility Services at Scales of 1:500 and Larger’.
